Yuliya and Val's Ukranian "I Do" | August 24th, 2019
Yuliya and Val had a Ukranian fairytale wedding earlier this year in August. From tiaras to her sparkling cocktail dress Yuliya was a stunning bride. The newly weds also combined their ceremony to include American and Ukrainian traditions, such as stepping on the Rushnyk and having guests guess the gender of their first baby with paper planes during cocktail hour. Ever single detail of this wedding was beautifully crafted by their florist Elisa and coordinator Elizabeth. Our team was so happy to have been part of such a fun wedding day with lots of laughter and dancing!
The Details
We could go on for days about the gorgeous decor and layout of this wedding, but the details really speak for themselves. Our favorite takeaways from this event were the super fun knotted napkins, the sweet message on the ring box, and the three tiered stunner of a cake by Cupcakes D’amour.
Getting Ready
Okay we've seen a lot in our time as a wedding venue, but this was the first time we had seen parts of the bridal party getting in some burps before the ceremony. They even pulled out our ping pong table, while the ladies pampered their favorite soon to be bride.
You & Me
It's safe to say these two sure do love each other. The paraded around all our favorite downtown spots with Tanner Marquis showing off their new bling.
Ceremony
We loved this ceremony so much we wanted to share a few of our favorite moments. We were excited to be introduced to a new tradition as the stepped on the Rushnyk in combination with the pouring of the sand.
Final Thoughts
Yuliya and Val's big day was full of exciting memories that we don't plan on forgetting anytime soon! We learned a lot from this wedding and have exciting tips to share with our future couples. Our team wishes the The Barashkovs many years of love and laughter.
